The Knight Jacket Printing Process

This jacket has been with me a long time. The sturdiness of the fabrication and the reliable cotton fabric has made this jacket a staple. It’s time for it to find a new forever home, with its custom stamped design giving it a new life.
It started with a handful of big bold floral stamps on the back. I thought it looked great, but it needed more.
For a while I thought it was done with some embellishments adorning the front, back, and sleeves. My favourite part is the sleeves; two separate stamps of carved moon phases adorn the arms, ranging from a sliver crescent moon to round a full moon and back again.
As I worked on more and more garments for my first collection, I realized this black cotton jacket looked a little lacking.
I decided to compliment the daisies, forget-me-nots, and lavender on the back with leaves, stars and chevrons.
Finally, after nearly forgetting, I decorated the hideaway hood with pegasus.
I named this The Knight jacket because of its military-style construction, and its dark colour.
